Aviation Coaching Survey

Step 1 of 24

Thank you for dedicating your time to support this academic research in partnership with Munster Technological University (MTU).

While current airline training makes crew members aware of subtleties such as cultural differences, communication barriers and cognitive biases – i.e., the non-technical or soft skills – Crew Resource Management (CRM) is still officially defined as "the set of Training procedures that focuses on the inter-personal activities among crew members" (Federal Aviation Administration, 2004).

The aim of this research is to understand whether some categories of airline employees may benefit from other practical tools to reflect on their own management skills (i.e., intra-personal) and, consequently, to be able to take preventive actions.

For this reason, the concept of Coaching will be researched with the aim to understand whether:
a) there is demand for Coaching in the Aviation Industry and;
b) its implementation may be used as an effective management tool to complement traditional CRM training, and to support aviation staff with their personal development.

Please, make sure you fill out all parts of the survey. It is totally anonymous, and it will take you just 2 minutes…we tested it

Thank you for supporting our Aviation Community!
